Talk about God's faithfulness... Our sweet Jack is a definite answer to our prayers. When we found out we were pregnant in August of 1997 for some reason we thought we were having a boy. However, the sonogram indicated different-awesome-Hannah was on her way. Before we found out that we were having a girl my mom bought three little boy outfits (one of which he is wering in this picture). I saved them and of course did not need them the second time around either. Thinking that we were done having children, finding out we were pregnant came as a huge surprise in January of 2003. Sadly, that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. That was very difficult but we knew deep within our hearts that we wanted another baby. We had some difficulty, but I began to claim the promises from God's Word that spoke of His faithfulness. And I found the three little boy outfits tucked away. I hung them in my closet and every time I saw them I would claim God's faithfulness in our lives. Finding out we were pregnant at the end of November of 2004 was so exciting and initially very scary, but I knew that my God is faithful-I, like Sarah in the Bible, judged my God faithful!!! In February we found out that our sweet little baby was a boy and he was growing and healthy. Let me encourage you about whatever it is that you are believing God for-judge Him faithful-He will not fail you. So nine years after the purchase of these outfits our son is wearing them!!

Wow, guys, what an amazing story. Thank you for your transparency and authenticity! When you are able to post the pictures the story will be visually encouraging as well, and we'll get to see Jack in those outfits! What a cool way to mark God's faithfulness. We love you!
(I am having trouble with pictures, too.)

I just happened upon your blog and I feel a bit strange commenting to someone I don't know, but I wanted you to know how much your posting meant to me. After being married just over a year, we had a miscarriage in July - it would have been our first child. Although we are excited to try again, it is scary. I find it hard to bring all this up with many people, but thank you for reminding me to remain faithful.
