Look out K-5 2011

Despite the fact that he has a hanger on his head, this little guy is so smart. He has really exploded in his vocabulary lately. Here are a few things he has done recently.
Last night: at graduation: He said "cookie" very clearly and over and over

May 16: He clearly said "Peas" for please along with the sign. I might add that we were grocery shopping, so practically every item I placed in the cart he frantically signed and said "Peas?"

May 16: Brooklin was counting her money (which she loves to do-frequently) and she was counting slowly. After she said "o-n-e" we heard Jack say it. He managed to hang on until four. So cute.

Sometime before May 16: I guess one pitfall for a third child, I don't exactly remember when he started saying these, however he has perfected them in the last two months:
bowl, cup, wa-wa, no (while shaking his head side to side), duck, he can say "bi" for bike.
And he definitely has "mil" milk down.
He even said "tac-too" for tractor.
And he does "moo", "meow", "ssss" (snake), "rrrrrra" (roar).

He understands so much. I can remember thinking with the girls that even though they could not talk well that they understood so much. Jack can too. I am amazed sometimes when I ask him to do something that he really understands and follows through. Two things that I think are kind of neat, when we are about to go somewhere and the TV is on I ask him to turn it off and he does. Also, just by watching Brooklin feed Molly each evening, Jack knows how to feed her too.
He is such a funny little guy-he definitely keeps us entertained.
