Perfect Ten

On this very night at this very time ten years ago I was in labor with our first born child. The one that made Adam and I parents. Eighteen hours after labor began Hannah entered our lives. I do have to say that I did not have any medication until after Hannah was born-yep-NOTHING!!! Hannah was due on April 18th, Adam's dad's birthday, but she just could not wait to come. So many thoughts, feelings, and memories have been flooding my mind each time I think of our Hannah and her upcoming birthday. A decade-a whole decade! She is amazing. She challenges me so much. It dawned on me the other day as I was thinking of her and the way she can't wait to live life each day, that she couldn't even wait to be born. She is so talented and passionate. She loves the Lord and her family. She is all about justice and seeing others come to the Lord. She loves to act and loves to read. I don't think her mind ever slows down, she has ideas all of the time. And she has good ideas too. I have much to learn from her and I look forward to seeing how God develops and uses her. I am so honored that God picked me to be her mom.
