As some of you may remember we had an appointment for Brooklin on February 10th with a Pulmonary Specialist. The day finally arrived and off we drove to Corpus Christi. Our biggest prayer has been her complete healing, however, we have been praying that God would give us answers in the meantime. And answers are exactly what He gave us. Every single person we came into contact with at the clinic was so kind and so informative. They were really great with Brooklin and as a parent that means so much. They very thoroughly explained everything that we had questions about. It was a four hour appointment (much waiting in between tests/meetings with doctors) but worth every single minute we spent. Our doctor told us that ZERO coughing is our goal. He is a big believer in participating in life and that Brooklin should never have to say, "I can't _________ because I have asthma." Yeah!! I feel like she is getting her life back. And that we are getting her back! I questioned the allergy testing that we had done here in Victoria almost two years ago. I actually had some very serious questions about it. Our doctor said that he wanted to run a South Texas profile on her by means of a blood test because it would be very accurate in letting us know of any allergies she might have. Now keep in mind, we have been praying, our families have been praying, we have some friends at church who have been praying for Brooklin and even some of you have been praying for her-THANK YOU. God DOES hear and answer prayers. On Thursday morning I received a call from the clinic to say that Brooklin's allergy test showed that she was NOT allergic to anything-A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G, that she was tested for. People, I cried. I was speechless and when I finally did say something, I said "Well, Praise God" to which the nurse replied "That's right"! This is the first of what I beleive to be good reports and God continuing to heal her asthma. We just know now that she does not have allergy induced asthma! Now to back up just a bit, as we were wrapping up at the clinic and we were waiting to be released, we discussed that she could try eating an orange and just see what would happen. That was one thing that had been marked as something she was allergic to according to her allergy testing in Victoria. Well, at lunch she ordered o.j. and she had no problem whatsoever. Adam bought her an orange and she enjoyed every single juicy bite of it. God heals. Not just yesterday, but today and He will heal tomorrow!!! This has sure been a faith booster. I hope it encourages you too. And, thank you to all who have stood with us. She does have a couple of follow-up appointment's coming up, one in three months and another in six, but we are only expecting good reports and we can't wait to share them with you.
About to enjoy her first orange in two years!

Her good report in writing!!
