Jack

***Update, I didn't realize that I had left out the second half of February as well so I have added them. Boy was I behind!!!****

Jack is such a joy to have as a son. He is constantly making us laugh and constantly keeping us on our toes. He is most certainly a gift from God. I am going to include some of the funny things he has said this year and also some fun photos.

February

Jack and his dog, Molly

I licked an envelope and Jack asked, "Why did you slime that?"

Jack, oh Jack, can you come here for a second?

During the Victoria rodeo we sold raffle tickets for our school. Mator was right next to our table and Jack loved it!

Building a car at Lowe's

Jack in disguise

March
Brooklin was helping me get Jack ready for Wednesday night church! He looked soooo handsome!

"I feel don't like you putting Christmas up" Jack-when I put away all Christmas deco

Silly boy

Early morning Jack cried out for me and I went in to cover him up. He then said to me, "You're a nice lady" (Thanks Jack).

Not feeling too well

He dressed himself. Interesting???

One evening I heard a loud crash in the bathroom and I thought one of the girls must have fallen. I said "Oh Jesus!" Jack, with a very serious look on his face asked, "Is Jesus okay?"

April
I was making Easter cookies and Jack made his very own. I love the way it turned out. We added an ear so it looks like a floppy eared bunny! I love his hands pressing the dough the best!

So many eggs so few hands!

My handsome boys

Easter photo shoot

Jack's fish died, but at first I wasn't completely sure so I told Jack that he needed to pray for his fish, Firetruck. He prayed, "God is good, bless us for our food. Amen." Well, I guess God could feed 5 with one Beta if he fed 5,000 with 2 fish!

This is what happens when you let Jack have free reign at bath time. He emptied an entire bottle of baby shampoo. Bubbles Yeah!!!

Laundry day

Face painting gone wild!

May
Dressing himself again

I asked Jack the following questions and see the answers for yourself:
What's your name? Jack, J-A-C-K (Great!)
How old are you? Three (Good!)
What city do you live in? (Not sure Okay, we'll work on that.)
What street do you live on? Sesame Street (Nice)

Go Thomas! Go!

So thankful to be a mother

Fun with MiMi

K-3 Awards Ceremony
Jack receiving his award from his principal Mr. L. and his wonderful teacher, and my good friend, Mrs. T.!

Jack on a zip-line.

As we took our dog Molly on a walk someone commented on our Beagle. Jack turned and said to me very frustrated, "They called her a bagel, her name is Molly!"

Face painting gone wild times 3!

June
Jumping into June

Balancing act

Jack was praying for his foot to feel better. At the end of the prayer he said, "In Lord of the name." Oops

One of my favorite pictures

Time with Uncle Dan

Is that Don King?

Ride 'em cowboy

Family time at the beach in Rockport

I said to Jack, "Jack, you're my favorite little boy." And he replied to me, "You're my favorite little girl." Then I told him that I loved him with all my heart, to which he relpied, "I love you with all your heart when you don't spank me."

Enjoying the pool

July
More fun at the pool

Guess who dressed himself?

Me: "Jack, come here. I need to hold your hand."
Jack: "No, I can hold my own hand."

Helping dad

Thumbs up mom

Jack calls sidewalk chalk "chidewalk". So cute!

Splash Party
We celebrated Jack's fourth birthday on the Sunday before his actual birthday. Adam set up four different water slides and two little pools in the backyard. The kids had so much fun.

Daddy's last night with his three year old

When Jack can't do something he'll say, "I how don't know to". Oh my!

Happy Fourth Birthday, Jack!!!

Cool cat

Campmeeting 2009

At some point Jack was needing to pass through a narrow area and a little girl was standing in the way. He said to her as he passed through, "Excuse me sweetheart." And then he said it again as he passed back through. At least he has really nice manners.

Cute little cowboys

Jack told Adam that he was my wife and that I was his (Jacks') husband. Them are fighten' words boy!

I LOVE the way you did this and love all of those precious little Jackisms. He is great and I'm so happy the boys had such a fun time together at Bloys this year. Looking forward to many years of watching two little cowboys running all over the campgrounds!

I just love how you did this. I love that he looks older as I scroll and scroll through the post. He's so precious! And I love the shot of he and Ethan at Campmeeting! That must have been fun!
