The Beginning of Birthday Fun

Well, our oldest daughter is turning 9. It has dawned on Adam and I that we have passed the half way mark. The number of years we have left with Hannah at home are less than half now. How we want to make every minute count. In celebration of her nineth birthday we planned some beach fun. However the weather was not cooperative, so we went to Plan B. We headed to Corpus Christi-another first for us. We took two sisters, Claire and Emma, in addition to our three, and headed out for a day of fun. Our first stop was Joe's Crab Shack. It was right on the beach next to the big ocean. It was cloudy and rainy outside but a very nice view. The staff made Hannah walk down a papertowel runway, strike a pose and head back as they sang Happy Birthday!!! She secretly loved it. After a yummy dessert we went to the Texas State Aquarium. We saw some amazing creatures. At 4:00 we watched a Dolphin show. That was really cool. We took in as much as we could then headed home. There is more birthday fun to be served up since her birthday is not actually until Wednesday. Enjoy the pictures.
