R.I.P.--????-2009

Our "Old Faithful" just gave it up this week. That was a sad day. Especially since there were towels in there that had not had the water spun out of them. Adam and I were given this washing machine when we got married almost 13 years ago. We had to have a service man come out a few months ago to work on it and he estimated the age of this machine at around 35+. He kindly let us know that if anything else went wrong just to go buy a new one. After an untold number of loads, that day finally came. Sunday, January 11th, 2009. But rest assured we did go out and purchase a new one the very following morning. (My sweet husband did that on his birthday!!) It is nice and so much more efficient. But there is alot to be said for the quality of machinery from yesteryear!!! May "Old Faithful" R.I.P.
