With Brooklin's ninth birthday approaching, we asked her what she would like to do. She knew she was getting her ears pierced because her sister did at nine years old. We couldn't have it done where Hannah did because the store had closed so B's options were wide open. She decided on a trip to San Antonio and we decided to look up some Campmeeting friends and include their girls. We ended up spending one night over the Labor Day holiday and had a great time. We started out at a well known ear piercing store, but as soon as we learned it was against store policy to take photos we decided to go somewhere else. It worked out so good. We went to Sharkie's and had a great experience. It hurt her so much (and I refrained from posting the actual pictures), but it didn't take long for her to get over it as we celebrated at Red Robin with a delicious meal and good company.
Another beautiful sky on our trip home.
An awesome reminder of God's promise...

Happy Birthday Brooklin!
Decoration for her b-day dinner.
I won a cookie cake for her by calling in to a local radio station. Her classmates enjoyed that!

Jack's first soccer game. He played for the Y and his team was called "Sidekicks". It was a fun experience.
Here he is making a game plan.
