Molly

Our sweet Molly went through quite a traumatic time over the summer. After our trip in June she got what looked like some type of skin infection. She was seen by the vet and given some meds, but one week later she was back at the vet having an abscess taken care of that had developed due to whatever was going on with her. We continued to watch her and give her medication but she would not stop scratching. As we planned to go to Six Flags we thought we would board her with the vet. We were not on the road to Dallas good before they called us saying they needed to do a skin biopsy and several other things to see what exactly was going on with her. We would later find out that we came very close to loosing her. When we took her in she had a very high fever and was basically almost shutting down. I felt horrible but had no idea. She had been eating and drinking so those were both good indicators to me? Anyway, she looked much better when we picked her up three days later. But the following week her diagnosis had come in as a skin disease the vet thought she will live with the rest of her doggie life. During this time we learned to pray for our dog. God cares about Molly and I believe the power of prayer helped her not die when she was so sick. She is doing well and had no relapses. Her hair grew back and she is as fun and playful as ever. God cares about even our animals and we have seen His faithfulness during a very hard time.
