Yes, I put 3th on purpose. More about that later. Our Jack turned three on Monday. Where has the time gone? We are so blessed. The celebration began early because my parents came into town last Thursday to help us celebrate. Mimi and Poppy drove down and we spent three days here having fun together. We enjoyed an afternoon at the beach in Rockport on Friday. Then mom and I had a little bit of girl-time by shopping and going to the movie. Dad and Adam went to see The Dark Knight at the theater in Gonado on Saturday night. Sunday we were blessed to here Mrs. Dodie Osteen speak about healing at our church. It was such a good message. Then off to San Antonio for a few days of fun.
Once we arrived at our hotel and settled in, we ventured out to get Jack's birthday cake and to eat dinner. We gave Jack three choices for his cake and he was certain which one he wanted. He selected by color (red, green, blue), but he did great picking out a white cake with butter creme icing-yummy! We told the lady what to write on it and for the most part she got it right. Happy 3th Birthday Jack. We had a good laugh. It caught the checker at the register off guard, he did a double take and commented on it. We did not want her to fix it because it was just funny. Anyway, after a delicious meal at Bennigan's, we took the kids swimming. They had been begging since before we had even left on the trip. We had a "moment" in the pool. Adam said, "My wedding ring came off." Words I did not want to hear. The water was not clear and the lighting was not great, so I approached a boy about 10 years old who had goggles and asked if he could look for it. He did and he found it-YEAH!!! Thankfully that happened at the pool and not at Sea World. Adam did not wear his ring there.
Monday morning, July 28th-HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACK!!!!!!! We had such a great time at Sea World. We were there from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. We went to a couple of shows and lots of fun stuff in between. Jack loved one of the water slides, but he was insistent that he wanted to go on the BIG one. He also cried to go on the Shamu roller coaster and Adam took him once we got off with the girls. He loved it. As we were leaving Jack asked Adam if he could ride the woller coastew one more time-just one more time:) Gotta love it. As soon as we buckled him up and drove out of the parking lot he was sound asleep. We ordered dinner and took it back to the room. He woke up and participated in dinner, presents and cake wholeheartedly. Our trip with my parents was wonderful. It was great to see them and I know the kids LOVED their time together. Happy Birthday, we love you Jack!!!!
I am new to the Picasa web Albums and I really like them. If you click on the little rainbow circle on the bottom corner of the slide show and then click onto the title you can see captions for all the photos, if you want. I also have taken pictures on my mom's camera and Hannah's camera so hopefully within about a week and a half I will have the rest of our trip pictures. I just had to post this in honor of Jack's third birthday.
