April 2010

**Update-On June 1st we decided to list with a real estate agent and so our blogspot for our house no longer exists.

April has been a great month. It began with Hannah's birthday and Easter Sunday-on the same day. She had a party the Friday before and we had a ton of fun. She is all about cupcakes right now, so it was cupcake themed. Our church has a wonderful drama each Easter and this year it was A.D. 33. Hannah was in it, so our Easter Sunday was quite full and we have so much to be thankful for. Then mid April my mom and I got to sneak away for a woman's conference in Dallas. I absolutely loved my time with her. This was our first time to have this much uninterrupted time with her since before I was married. I can't wait for next year! I didn't take any pictures of us and really anything we did, but just know it was a great time all the way around! And I am actually blogging because we are currently having an Open House for our home that went up on the market today. No one has come yet, but I know it only takes one and I know God is going to help us sell our home. Be sure to check it out and let anyone know that might be interested: www.110riata.blogspot.com.
(We actually enjoyed three hours of a very quiet house yesterday-we did not have anyone come to the Open House-but we are not discouraged)!

Easter Egg Hunt at school. I love this picture because I caught Jack with both feet off the ground!

Hannah's cupcake cake. My first time to make a cake using this cake pan. Super easy and lots of fun! (How many times did I use the word cake?)

After lunch I took the girls to our local cupcakery for some dessert(before her big party).

Now for the big party. We had two crafts set up. One was cupcake bookmarks and the other cupcakes made out of felt. The girls really enjoyed these.

Then it was time for games. We played pin the cherry on the cupcake (no photos) and Sprinkle Relay. Each girl had to scoop up as many cupcake "sprinkles" (Mike and Ike candy) and run it down to the other bowl. The team with the most won!

TIme for birthday wishes.

April 4th, 2010 Hannah turns 21. Oh wait, I mean 12! Breakfast in bed at dark thirty. She had to be at the church by 7:00 for the first performance of the Easter production.

Time for presents.

Easter related photos.
This is just one of 530 photos I took of the production. Hannah is pretty much in the middle in the dark green robe. This was an amazing story of Jesus life and death.

We dyed eggs and they turned out so pretty.

Easter bags-YUMMY!
