March means Spring Break. We planned a trip to see both sets of grandparents and then we got a bit of a surprise. When Hannah competed in the District Spelling Bee in San Antonio at the very end of January and placed third, the Regional Bee was already scheduled to be held in Fort Worth on the Saturday of Spring Break. Adam had a big Men's Conference planned at church that he needed to take care of and so I loaded the kids up and off to Fort Worth we went. We were blessed to stay with friends from campmeeting and they watched Brooklin and jack while Hannah and I were at the Bee. Thank you so much "W" family! Then on Saturday after Hannah finished (she spelled out during round two, but she competed against 66 other students from five other states) we headed to Levelland for the second part of our trip. It was unusually cold and even snowed Monday. Adam did get to join us Sunday and I was so glad. We enjoyed a wonderful time with my parents and all too soon had to leave. Our last leg was spent relaxing at the ranch and getting to see Adam's parents and brother. The kids all played with Ethan and loved every minute. We are so blessed with great families.
Jack could so appear on a show for "What Not to Wear-Kids". He was so proud of himself! Too funny.
They just looked so cute after they dressed for church!
