Tonight I was praying for our middle daughter as she is battling a bit of a cold that in turn triggers a bit of asthma. As a Christian from the time I was 8 years old, raised in a Pastor's home, filled with the Word of God and knowing that God can do anything- I pray, having faith, that Brooklin will be healed. That may seem strange to some, but God says He is our Great Physician, and that "by His stripes, we are healed." So I just trust and believe that is true. I have seen Him at work before and I believe He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. All that to say, tonight as I was praying I was reminded of Galatians 6:9-Let us not be weary (tired-discouraged) in doing good (praying for our child) for we will reap (answered prayer) in due season, IF we don't give up. That is a very encouraging verse. You may be standing in faith for a marriage, a wayward child, needing a better job, a difficult relationship. Don't give up!!! Don't quit!! Press in!! God hears you and He cares. Now is not the time to quit!
