Main Verses: Romans 5:5-8 "For hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. 6)You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7)Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person though for a good a good person someone might possibly dare to die. ) But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (NIV)
(I Corinthians 13 is often times called "The Love Chapter" and a great encouragement of how we should love and of how Christ loves us).
Main Thought: Love, love, love
Message:
With Valentine's Day coming I wanted to share on the ever important topic of love. Not the kind of , "Oh I love that cute top" or "Don't you just love that new cafe!" But real, life-giving, undeserved, pure, sweet, walks through the hard times, makes the good times better, kind of love. The love you have for your spouse, the love you have for your child(ren), parent(s), sibling(s), friends. For God. The love He has for YOU. I want to tell you, whether you feel totally loved or totally unloved (or unlovable) YOU ARE LOVED! You are not a mistake, or an accident, or too bad to be loved by the very God who formed and fashioned you in your mother's womb. I hope you will take some time everyday this week, just one or two minutes and meditate on the verses above, or any other verse from the Bible that helps you remember how very loved you are.
Reminded of His Love,
Tiffany
