Father's Day 2010

It is rare that we get to spend Father's Day with our families, but this year proved to be different. We decided to make another trip to West Texas and be with our father's on Fathers Day. I drove to Levelland and spent the day with my dad while the kids and Adam enjoyed time with his dad in Midland.

The beauty of a West Texas sunset-breathtaking!!

And the joy of being in the country--we saw several on this trip!

We decided to have a brunch in the pecan orchard and it was so beautiful and meaningful.

On Monday as we prepared to leave I had gone outside with Jack and Brooklin. Brooklin came running around the corner in a panic saying she saw a snake. She did! And Adam was the hero and killed the rattlesnack. Jack was sitting on top of the plastic box in the picture on top of the snake! God's angels were watching over my sweet boy and girl.

My dad and I on Father's Day. It was such a treat to get to see him on Father's Day. I love my daddy!
