Time with Mamaw

My dad's mom lives about two minutes away from mom and dad. We saw her a few times during our stay. She and Hannah usually play Bingo and Checkers when they are together and this time was no exception. One Saturday she came over and had lunch with us and the next Saturday we went over and had lunch with her. She makes yummy mac and cheese, black-eyed peas, corn bread, fried zucchini, chicken tenders, and bread and butter pickles. And a delicious chocolate pie. I am so thankful that at my age I still have a grandmother that lives independently and drives herself and cooks and that my children have gotten to know her too. An interesting fact about my almost 91 year old grandmother-she LOVES watching wrestling three nights a week. I mean LOVES!! I love YOU, Mamaw.

(I know you can't see it good in this picture, but I am representin' my Alma mater-Texas Tech!!)

Notice Jacks' death grip on the jar of jelly beans. Sugar-pure sugar-a regular staple at Mamaw's house.
