It's almost official

Within the hour we will officially be voluntary evacuees of Hurricane Ike. The house is boarded up as is most of the neighborhood. And we have made arrangements for a place to stay. Please be praying for everyone trying to get ready and get out. Please pray for safety safety over peoples homes from damage from the storm or looters. We had a bit of a scare last night with a neighborhood full of people. Appartently someone knocked on a door and when there was no response they tried to enter the residence. We know our God is bigger than any storm or any thief. We are keeping our eyes turned upon Him. I will say this is very surreal, a little bit exciting and somewhat scary. But I do know that we are going to be okay. Thanks for your prayers!!! We look forward to blogging on the other side of this and giving everyone a great report.
